About

Light under the eyes — naturally

Tear trough (nasojugal groove) — the hollow between lower eyelid and cheek that forms with age or is present anatomically. Creates a shadow that visually reads as dark circles and fatigue, regardless of how much sleep you've had.

A small amount of a soft hyaluronic filler placed deep fills the hollow and eliminates the shadow. The most important zone where the «tired look» effect appears — and one of the most complex technically, requiring precise work with a fine cannula.

  • Soft filler specifically for periorbital zone (Restylane Refyne, Juvederm Volbella)
  • Cannula technique — no bruises, maximum precision
  • The most technically demanding zone — only experienced doctors
  • Often combined with cheekbones for a «fresh eye» effect
  • Fully reversible with hyaluronidase
Indications

Who benefits from this procedure

Tear trough filler is relevant both anatomically (hereditary hollow) and with age.

— 01

Dark circles of structural origin

Not pigmentation, but shadow from the hollow. Can be present from a young age as anatomy. Filler fills the hollow — shadow disappears.

— 02

"Tired look"

Special periorbital technique — skin becomes denser, tear trough less pronounced, «glow» returns.

— 03

Age-related hollowing

After 30–35, the fat pad under the eye decreases. The hollow becomes more pronounced. Filler restores the youthful profile.

— 04

After weight loss

Sharp weight loss often gives a «sunken» periorbital zone. Filler returns volume without changing overall appearance.

— 05

Combination with cheekbones

Tear trough + cheekbones — complex approach for periorbital zone rejuvenation. Cheekbones provide the structural foundation.

— 06

Prevention

Young clients with pronounced hollow who want to prevent deepening with age. Small amount, subtle correction.

Questions and answers

The most common questions we get about this treatment.

Then filler won't help. At consultation we assess the nature of the circles — if it's pigmentation, we recommend other treatments (laser, mesotherapy). Don't waste money on a procedure that won't give results.
Understandably. That's why we use only the cannula technique — it's less traumatic and much safer than a needle in this zone. Our doctors have specialised specifically in periorbital work.
Bluish tint under the skin if filler is placed too superficially. Avoided by: choosing the right filler (transparent, soft) and the right depth (subperiosteal). With proper technique — doesn't occur.
Yes, completely. If for any reason the result is unsatisfactory — hyaluronidase dissolves the filler within 24 hours.
