Dark circles, hollows, tired look
The most delicate zone on the face — and the most impactful. Filler in the tear trough area eliminates the shadow under the eye that makes the face look tired and older than it is.
Tear trough (nasojugal groove) — the hollow between lower eyelid and cheek that forms with age or is present anatomically. Creates a shadow that visually reads as dark circles and fatigue, regardless of how much sleep you've had.
A small amount of a soft hyaluronic filler placed deep fills the hollow and eliminates the shadow. The most important zone where the «tired look» effect appears — and one of the most complex technically, requiring precise work with a fine cannula.
Tear trough filler is relevant both anatomically (hereditary hollow) and with age.
Not pigmentation, but shadow from the hollow. Can be present from a young age as anatomy. Filler fills the hollow — shadow disappears.
Special periorbital technique — skin becomes denser, tear trough less pronounced, «glow» returns.
After 30–35, the fat pad under the eye decreases. The hollow becomes more pronounced. Filler restores the youthful profile.
Sharp weight loss often gives a «sunken» periorbital zone. Filler returns volume without changing overall appearance.
Tear trough + cheekbones — complex approach for periorbital zone rejuvenation. Cheekbones provide the structural foundation.
Young clients with pronounced hollow who want to prevent deepening with age. Small amount, subtle correction.
Appointment 30–45 minutes. One of the most delicate procedures — requires full focus.
Assessment of skin thickness, hollow depth, cheek volume. Important to understand what creates the shadow — hollow or pigmentation.
— — 15 minCream applied and left for 20 minutes for maximum comfort.
— — 20 minUltra-fine cannula, one entry point. Filler placed deep along the groove. Fewer complications than needle technique.
— — 10 minGentle distribution of filler, symmetry assessment, light massage if needed.
— — 5 minFor tear trough, usually 0.5–1 ml total (both sides). Less is better in this zone.
